My Success Story:

I'm entering a new phase of life: taking more care of my body (at 63), defining a new career (retiring after 34 years as a scientist) , exercising and maintaining a lower weight. Progress has been from finding a much more tolerable and even enjoyable (not boring) exercise program 2x per week (Pilates), doing elliptical 2 x per week, 20 minutes, and loosely following South Beach life style: few carbs, lots of veggies and lean meat, extra mini snacks, and building in special occasion indulgences (without guilt). Cycling is a great senior activity and cycling trips are a great motivator to stay in shape.

How WeightChart is helping:

Weight chart is something I so much look forward to and it keeps me on track. Pretty amazing, really. I work out after work, and use the gym scale, and in order to do that, I have to go to the gym!! The weight stats are consistent that way. So at least 4 times a week, I account for where I am on weight chart, and get rewarded nearly every time I enter weight into my chart, and get an accurate assessment of progress, goals, and maintenance. One nice feature is that Weight Chart doesn't let you get too ambitious in your goal setting. If the next goal will be too difficult, you can adjust your goal.
